Little Red Barn - San Antonio

We were rushed the moment we sat down from are salads being placed on the table before we sat down to the desert placed in front of me while still only halfway through our meal. We didn't receive any refills on drinks or asked if there is anything else we needed. All this took place in about 30 minutes. The steak I had was a low grade ribeye and the fish was like dollar general...... BTW it wasn't because we got there at closing time they chose at 9pm and we got there at 7:15pm... my advice GO SOMEWHERE ELSE....

It’s Not Like I Remembered It To Be Thirty Years Ago, Didn’t Taste The Same, Normal Chicken Fried Steak ?, Nothing To Get Excited About, Like I Was Before Arriving At Little Red Barn….

Finally! A good steak. Would love to eat here again. We just happened across this place by accident and decided to Google it. The results were positive and we are happy to not have missed out. Finding a decent steak is not an easy task.

Visited for Dinner on November 8, 2023.This was my first visit and was recommend by my brother his wife. I ordered the 10oz sirloin, which was excellent. Accompanied with a baked potato and sweet tea. The potato you had to add the extras yourself (they brought them to the table in little plastic containers), but no biggie. The sweet tea was brewed perfectly. Also the server was awesome.My only two complaints is that I thought the restroom was amazingly small for such a size of restaurant and the person running the cash register was about as friendly as a buzzard.

Very few selections for sides, and you automatically get a salad that counts as one of your two sides without a say. The steak was cooked to perfection and was very delicious. I will give them this, they focus on the main meat part of the dish which they have a very large selection of many tasty choices.
