Little Em's Oyster - San Antonio

Food was bland and taste like bar food, the mojitos were delicious, the hit and spicy shrimp lived up to their name but the Cajun chicken sandwich, roasted vegetables and steamed broccoli was subpar. The side house and Caesar salad were good.

Absolutely loved this place. The oysters were perfect. The wine was perfect. The yellow fin tartar was perfect. Super cute place.

Was so excited about trying this place. Made a reservation two weeks ago for I side table seating at 11:30. We arrived 10mins early and although the restaurant was empty they wanted to seat us on the bar (these are high stools without backs) I explained to the host that I have a bad back and cannot sit at the high stools she was not very courteous and said we could only sit outside. Keep in mind, it was cold, we booked Two weeks before, booked an I side Table and yet she was not going to seat us. While mistakes happen sometimes the level of service is determined by how courteous workers can be. I drove 35 mins to try EM only to be turned away. I told the lady this is our first time and we are excited please don’t let this be our last. She couldn’t care less and even the lady behind the bar was blaming open table for not having specific bar vs normal table seating. Don’t know why that became my fault. Since they wouldn’t seat us on a low table inside we went elsewhere, thankfully to be honest as we didn’t feel at all welcome or appreciated. Won’t be coming back here again and I want the owners to know how their restaurant is being run in case they are not aware. Thank you

Went for restaurant week and this place did not disappoint. Cute spot with good ambience and delicious food. Only drawback is the size of the venue and limited indoor seating so plan ahead and make a reservation during peak times. Overall 5 out of 5 dinning/social experience ?

I love Little Em's. I love the food, the quality of food and the space. My only complaint was the fans. The indoor fans were running very high to the point of discomfort. Air was blowing in my face during the meal. I asked if it was possible to lower the fans but the server said there wasn't an option to lower or turn them off. The service and food were impeccable as always. I just wish I felt a little more comfortable eating and taking my time. I skipped dessert more so because I was very cold and didn't want to sit under the fast running fans anymore. Of course I'll be back because of the food and maybe ask for a different seat if I see the fans running
