Lenny's Sub Shop - San Antonio

You guys are now better than Bruchis!!!!!! 2 yrs ago. 4 stars. Philly cheesesteak is really good... and i don't really like meat that much... wish they had spinach and other veggies...

This was my first time eating here. I have to say the sandwiches are very yummy and worth the visit. If you have never been I highly recommend you go try one of the sandwiches here. I had the roast beef 7.5 inch sandwich. My boyfriend had Philly cheese steak sandwich. Both were delicious. Bread was soft and fresh. The prices were affordable too. I will definitely go back again....

Nothing special about the sandwich. Place was clean and service was great.

Second time coming here, the first was with my brother and I had the A1 Philly, it was delicious along with my current meal the Garden Veggie!

We visited this establishment while visiting our son at FSH because our son decided he wanted a meatball sub. He got mom(me) wanting one too, so I did a google search and Lenny's was one of the first places listed. We could have gone with Subway, but I am not fond of their meatball subs. I'm so glad we decided on Lenny's! Their meatball subs are some of the best I've had in a long time! And I'm from NY, where Italian food is heads and tails above the rest. The bread is a perfect combination of soft but crusty, and they do not hold back on the cheese! The meatballs are a good size and not the bite size versions you get out of the freezer section in the grocery store. And they didn't cover the entire sandwich in sauce where it would fall apart while eating. I wish I had gotten a picture of our sandwiches but I was entirely too hungry to think about a review before eating it. I will absolutely be back for another sub next visit!
