Ilsong Garden - San Antonio

I had an excellent dining experience with a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from. The staff was incredibly courteous, and the dining area was clean and inviting. It brought back many fond memories of my time spent in Korea many years ago.

The chicken katsu and bibimbap were yummy. i knew the bibimbap was gonna be big and out was only like $13?? some places i've been either sell it for same price and smaller or like $20, plus the rice was so soft n steamy. rice is a deal breaker for me, and this place was perfect. The katsu also came with two fillets instead of one and i was like :0!!!! i want to come back so bad.

This charming little Korean BBQ spot offered a warm welcome and prompt seating. Since it wasn't very busy, the service was quick. I ordered the Beef Bulgogi, which was cooked and presented nicely. The restaurant did feel a bit cluttered, with some random items that seemed more suited for a storage area than being on display. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my meal, and the prices were reasonable.

Though I have only been here once their Bi Bim Bap is the bar that I will judge other Korean restaurants by. I also ordered a side of dried squid which was equally delicious. The next time I'm in Texas I hope I will be somewhere close to this restaurant.

This place has been here for a long time and I've always enjoyed it. The food is great and it's a lovely mom and pop atmosphere.
