Hero's Ramen X Sushi - San Antonio

You have to order before you sit down so there's not a whole lot of time to look over the menu, especially if it's busy. The man who took my order was of absolute no help, he was irritated when I asked for guidance. After my party and I were sat (2 of us), I decided to move over because I did not want to sit by the window. He was visibly upset I moved. 3 stars because the food was delicious, I highly recommend the hot green tea. Absolutely delicious.

With the cooler weather, we wanted to have something warm so we looked for a Ramen place with outdoor seating. When I messaged to ask on Facebook about the outdoor seating, the person replied to simply ask when we're ordering. Thankfully, they accommodated us. My husband and I both ordered the Hero's Tonkotsu Ramen. I split the bowl with my Dad. The broth was good and not salty, which is what we were looking for. We also had the seaweed salad and the Salmon Lover Bowl. The portions were generous that we took most of the salmon and seaweed salad home. The Ramen was excellent, the salmon was just ok. That's why the 4 stars. We definitely appreciated the outdoor seating and should be back again.

3.5 for this restaurant! The place was pretty neat and you immediately get the Japanese vibes as soon as you get in. They have outdoor and indoor sitting. They also play anime on their TV and they sell snacks which will welcome you as soon as you get in. Their snacks prices are so much reasonable and affordable than the other asian store in San Antonio. The staff were kind and attentive, easily to communicate and we didn?t really have any issue. Food the food was okay, you get more meat or chasu in their ramen but includes so much fat than lean meat. The broth is really important in ramen, their Hero Ramen was not something I will crave but will eat it again if ever we get back to this place. I just think that it needs more flavor to be more competitive with the other ramen here in SA.

Amazing place. Super flavorful Ramen. Nice and friendly staff. Fast. We could not have had a better experience. The air conditioner was maybe on the fritz while we were there but the eats are on point. Definitely becoming a regular here.

Awesome ramen! Some of the best in town, certainly in the area. Sushi was great too tho the rice was slightly undercooked in my opinion. Place looks great and the staff is super helpful and nice. The sushi selection is not huge, we?ll I guess the menu is not too large overall but it has what you need with great quality
