Hala Cafe - San Antonio

Pretty good Jordanian style Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food . Reasonably priced. We had the baba ghanoush and dolma appetizers, lamb tikka and beef tika as main and knufeh for dessert. Everything was delicious. My one minus thing is they only have the to-go wrapped plastic cutlery and plastic cups for drinks which even for a casual sit-down place, is still a bit of a let down. Nit picking? Maybe. Tried getting reservations but no one was answering the phone. Tried Google Reservations and that didn't work either. So just took a chance and went early and snagged seats. Friendly staff but most were busy with an outdoor party so only had 1 person inside but he was still nailing it so was not an issue for me. Will return to try other menu items.

THE BEST FOOD YOU WILL EVER HAVE! My goodness, it was so good I had to stop take pictures of the food before I finished it all. The hookah is pretty decent as well, one of the only places in San Antonio that's worth going to when it comes to both Hookah Food.

Such an amazing Mediterranean experience. The Saturday events are always so much fun to be apart of. The food is incredible and most of all the owner is one of the best people I have ever met, he truly puts his whole heart into his cafe. 10 out of 10 experience

We went tonight for first time and had beef shawarma and lamb tikka sandwiches. It was excellent. Jessy was warm and welcoming. Definitely will go back again and try some other dishes. Nice and clean environment. Glad it is open late because not much to choose from in San Antonio.Parking: Plenty of parking
