Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken

The food was ok the flavor was there but when I eat fried chicken I'm expecting a crunch when I bite into it the skin was not crispy it was soft. The slaw seemed like it was pre made out of package fries were full of salt in all honesty for the price I just don't think it was worth the price..

Fantastic chicken. Wish they had the catfish like the Tennessee stores.

Would have been 5 stars. The chicken is well seasoned with good flavor and texture, but the chicken tastes like FEATHERS. Learn to DEFEATHER poultry at minimum before frying. It taste like a chicken (animal) smells.

We ordered the 8 pieces with Mac n cheese and Okra. Chicken is fried differently, may be air fried. Definitely not regular crunchy fried chicken. Nonetheless, it was still very good and spicy. The Mac n cheese and Okra were also good. I'm only giving 4 stars because our waiter wasn't attentive, and it wasn't a busy time.

Orderd a 3 piece white to go... when I got home I noticed I only had 2 pieces in my order.. it 's sucks but no big deal I 'll give them a call.. the manager asked for my name and what I ordered.. he then takes a while to get back to me.. when he speaks to me again he realized his error and said to just come back.. I literally could not drive back at the moment and told him that.. he instantly said Ok and hung up on me... didn 't even allow me a rebuttal and for me to ask how he 's going to make things right for me... it 's the last time I will go to your restaurant and the food is just OK so I won 't be missing out on anything anyway.. so in summary if they get your order wrong and you can 't go back immediately.. your screwed and they just steal your money..
