Frontier Burger - San Antonio

Burgers and fries are great here! Burgers are really good size! We couldn't finish ours so you always leave feeling full and with a late night snack! Food is always fresh and the staff are always friendly and accomadating. Thanks guys good job!

Decided to give this place a try. Articles I read online said the burgers were supposed to be more like the original Frontier restaurant burgers. The prices at the restaurant are priced burger alone, with the option to make them a combo for $2.89. Burgers range from $6.29 to $8.39. So a combo here starts at about $9. I asked about the difference between the burgers here and at Jims, and was told it had to do with the way the meat was seasoned, but thats all they could say. When my food arrived it looked a lot like Jims, I ordered the Frontier Burger. The flavor was very similar, it seemed like the meat did have a slight flavor difference that was closer to some of the older burger restaurants but wasn't noticeably different. My burger was a bit on the cool side, not sure if this was due to the lettuce and special sauce. Not sure if Ill return, prices are a bit high, and the flavor was not noticeably different enough to justify the price difference over Jims.

Tremendous local spot in San Antonio! Perfect for lunch. They will be busy but they move fast! Great staff and great eats. Everyone leaves satisfied and ready for a nap!

Love this place have a ton of memories from this location. The burgers are delicious and the fries taste amazing I get mine with the onion rings as well. They have good chili and cheese so if you're a big chili cheese fries person you have to try it. The ice cream is good just sometimes the shake machine is down.

Frontier Burger is an all time favorite place of mine. Out of everywhere I could go eat ever, this would be it. If I could give more stars I would. Great food that never messes with my sensitive stomach and amazing service. One time I went and they offered us a free ice cream concoction they had cooked up in the back. It was delicious. Overall, love this place, 11/10
