The meat is always so well seasoned and the hand-cut potato frits are no longer. My only wish is that they have made their own pitabrot so that it was what they were known for. A girl can dream? Otherwise, keep the decades of good work demos.
I have the micro-gyro that was a lunch. Overall pretty good with fast service. The price was appropriate for the amount of food and drink.
Demos is delicious, clean and very consistent. I'm going to Mediterranean cuisine. I worked for a Lebanese family as a young man and fell in love with Mediterranean food. Demos is as close to the recipes I discovered working for the Sahadi family.
Overall, I come to Demo's Greek Food for the first time, I am very happy with the way they do it. When I entered the building, I saw that on the back wall there was a menu with different types of elections. My wife and I chose a pita with hummus as an appetizer and sweet tea and lemonade as our drinks. I never had hummus, but I won't lie, I think it was pretty good me and my wife ate it and thought it was good, but not quite for us. For a main starter we ordered two Gyros deluxe, which came with salad tomatoes feta cheese and black olive lamb beef. I also came with the side of the fries that were fresh and made until the day we came in. Everything was extremely hot and fresh people did not rush to get our food out, but not their time they did it in a decent fashion and I definitely recommend this place if you did not try it. The decor inside is quite beautiful and goes with the Greek vibes.
I love this place and this location is the most convenient for me at Loop 1604 and Blanco Road. What a beautiful day for a Spicy Gyro! Admitting that I am partial to Greek food above other Mediterranean foods. I worked at an managed a Greek Seafood restaurant in Marblehead Ohio while in colleges Denos (almost the same) laughing and enjoying my work learning the food from Konstantinos ?Gus? Denos. I also had Greek Cypriot roommates in college. This was the first I tried their spicy version with High Octane Extra Spicy cottage cheese. I added Tzatziki because, well for me required. What a delightful balance. Always fresh crisp lettuce, traditional gyro meat and a fabulous pita. Swing in, enjoy a quick lunch sandwich or salad, or spend a little more time on a full dinner. I?ll see you again soon
