Church's Texas Chicken - San Antonio

I rarely leave reviews reviews but I feel compelled to let people know that this church is pretty damn good. The People working there are very politeEncourageous

Positives: Great tasting chicken...as usual! HOT!Negatives: Had to wait several minutes on both to be cooked. Ordered the peach cobbler for the first time. Peaches were excellent...but the cobbler was a Church 's biscuit. So for $2.65, I had a .46 cent biscuit, with 8 pieces of spiced peaches poured over it. I 'll pass in future visits.Still one of my favs for getting my chicken fix!

Ordered online at 8:30pm. Baked half chicken, lemonade, okra and mac&cheese. Got there at 8:50 (that's when it said it would be ready) and sat in the drive through till 9:00. Asked an employee who came out to smoke if the lobby was open, he said no. But he did ask my name after I told I prepaid. Comes back out and asks me to pull to the front of the store. I had to jump the curb because no one wanted to back up to let me out of the drive through. Heard a hard scrape, even though I was in a large SUV. Get to the front and wait another 10 min. Come to find out, management was having a corporate inspection tomorrow and made the very few employees they had prioritize cleaning over customer service. I got an iced tea instead of lemonade, and soggy fries instead of okra. The chicken was overcooked and dry. This is unacceptable.

I ordered an 8 piece family meal and as I served my kids i was shredding it and noticed all my chicken was pink and gooey in the inside and burnt on the outside and as well had a foul smell to it. I tried calling the store numerous of times and no answer. So I drove back to the store and showed them the chicken the lady at the drive thru window was really rude about it. Saying she can’t give a refund. After she clearly saw the chicken.

First time trying chicken-on-a-stick. It was really good. The chicken was cook to perfection.. Awesome Fiesta box special. I hope they keep the chicken-on-a stick on their menu for now on.. ?
