Big Poppas Tacos - San Antonio

Excellent customer service, the food was absolutely amazing with generous portions at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend the churros!

My husband and I are visiting from out of state, and he discovered this restaurant online. I had low expectations, thinking it would just be a typical taco place. However, upon arrival, I was a bit worried since there weren't many businesses nearby. Then I tried the food, and it was some of the best Mexican cuisine I've ever experienced! Honestly, this place is fantastic! We ordered the pastor burrito (#10) and the carne asada nachos (#7), and both were incredible! I could easily overindulge here. Don’t hesitate to choose this restaurant for a meal! It’s family-owned and operated, and everything is prepared and cooked on-site. The quality of the food is outstanding.

This place never lets me down. This is my second visit, and I've tried the hoodrat burrito. In the picture, you can see the sucia fries, which are topped with asada, hot Cheetos, cheese, crema, and cilantro. They are absolutely delicious!

Great friendly people and awesome food! So happy to have found this place! Will be back for more Sucia fries and mini tacos.

EDIT: just came back. Still amazing. Come get tacos here.Flew in from Utah for business and googled the best tacos close to me and came here. Boy was it good! I got two Al pastor and two carne asada tacos. Had to order three more carne asada tacos because they’re the best I’ve ever had. I usually don’t like carne asada but the flavor was so good and it had just the right amount of grease. I’ll be back next time I’m in San Antonio!
