Fuentes Cafe Downtown - San Angelo

Relocating has its ups and downs. We left some wonderful friends and neighbors in Houston, and a few favorite restaurants. Juanita’s for example, and Pho Ton for another. We found a place for Mexican food that is an absolute delight. It is called Fuentes Downtown Cafe. It has been around a long time and recommended by many. It doesn’t replace Juanita’s, but it does hold its own as one of the best I have been fortunate enough to find. We were greeted and treated like friends by Mr. Fuentes and his staff, and the food was exceptionally good. If you visit San Angelo, let me know and I will meet you there for lunch...!

It was my first time there in San Angelo and my mom suggested Fuentes Cafe because after work sometimes she goes there to eat. Best tortilla soup I have ever had. Best chicken strips also! The salad was on point! And our waiter was super nice! Such friendly service! I would suggest it!

Our party of 45 was well taken care of!!! We came with no notice and they treated us amazing from the start!!! Kept glasses filled, food was amazing and the staff were kind and amazing!! We will return if we are ever in this area again
