The restaurant has a rustic and very welcoming decor, located near a beautiful garden. As I was in a tour I had a fixed menu: bruschetta with tomatoes and prosciutto; meat lasagna; fruit salad topped with vanilla ice cream and expresso. The food was well prepared, tasty and expertly paired with local wines. The staff was attentive and very friendly. Overall a very good experience. I recommend!
It's a must on your visit to the winery , you have to taste the magnificent food and beautiful views
Very good food. A good variety of choices, especially for vegetarians and a wide choice of Zuccardi wines. 30 minutes drive from downtown Mendoza.
We went to Pan y Oliva as an alternative to the other Zuccardi restaurant, which we understand is more formal and less kid-friendly. The food was outstanding - lots of variety to choose from, portion sizes were generous (compared to what we're used to at other wineries), dishes were creative and delicious, and the wine was outstanding. We also thought the value was outstanding - lunch was very reasonably priced for what it was. We came with a large group (about 16 people, 6 of which were kids) and the only reason I'm not giving a 5 start rating is because of the service. The servers seemed to be a bit inexperienced and at several points they were confused (brought another table's order to us, missed some of the drinks we ordered, brought things out then back in again, etc.). Granted there were a lot of people and kid distractions! On the bright side, we enjoyed the food and wine immensely, hung around the grounds (kids explored and had a great time) and ended up buying a bunch of amazing olive oil and wine to take back with us, which we are still savouring and thinking of Zuccardi!
Our first meal in Mendoza was at Pan & Oliva. We chose P&O over the other Zuccardi restaurant because the menu seemed to better cater to my vegetarian needs. The food was delicious (my carnivore husband agrees) and we were able to sample 3 of their olive oils with the freshly baked bread they served. Service was excellent and the setting/atmosphere is beautiful.Be sure to make reservations. My only regret was not buying some of the olive oil to bring home!
