Contribuiți la feedbackWe got the seafood paella (for 2, shared among 3 but it was more than enough), garlic shrimp, and calamari. All were delicious. But the best part was the oysters! If I remember correctly, they were around $2 (or less) per oyster and tasted better than theones most oyster bars!! I would come back just for the oysters. Service-wise it was a bit strange. The waiters were nice, butwe had at least 3-4 different waiters come check in on us during our time there. At one point, we were asked if we were doingokay every 2-5 minutes so we felt like we were being rushed out even though we just received some of our dishes.
Overall: Lively atmosphere in an evenly spaced out restaurant, or you can sit outside! Excellent service from our main waiter and the other staff. Good variety of standard, no frills tapas to share amongst groups at very affordable prices. We had abetter experience with the seafood dishes in comparison to the mostly overcooked meat. Would come back again if someone suggeststo as there are many dishes I didn't get a chance to try. But don't come with high expectations! Food: Every dish wasreasonably priced. The Parillada (meat platter) was hugely portioned, but most of the meats were overcooked and rendered dry.Alcachofas (grilled artichoke) was one of the favorites even though it was a tad oily. The mussels, oysters, calamari, andshrimp tapas were standard fare that matched their prices. Dessert: Flan was of thin consistency and was accompanied with athin, watery caramel. Crema Catalana was smooth and seemed like it had an essence of ginger; otherwise, it's a solidpick. Service: Our waiter was accommodating, attentive when needed, and friendly. We never felt rushed out and ensured toremove an item that was inadvertently added to our bill. The other service staff were great at clearing our tables of finishedplates and refilling our water pitcher (which I ALWAYS look out for because I drink a lot of water).
Something was missing but can't put my finger on it. We ordered a ton of food and it was good but mostly rice. Could have been a tad better.
Vibrant and affordable tapas place! There was not a long line for Friday night since they have quite a lot of tables, just 10-15 minutes, basically nothing, parking should be difficult so we walked there. Must order items: blood sausage, potato omelette andox tail stew. Blood sausages are both crunchy and flavourful, potato omelette was soft and tasty, ox tail is my personalfavorite, the ox tail was well cooked, easy to consume and tasted like homemade. Everything is generally good! A thing to noteis the place was crowded since every table is close to each other. Staff are very friendly and this price level is unbeatableconsidering all the expensive restaurants in SF. Will definitely visit again.
Came on a Saturday night for dinner, made reservations the morning of. We split 5 tapas, a paella, and 2 pitchers of sangria (plus copious amounts of bread) between 5 people and we were full. Everything was pretty good, with the octopus and the bread +sauce it came with being the best things! The paella was a bit off texturally, and didn't have as much flavor as I'd like. Theoutdoor seating area out back is super nice, would come back for drinks and tapas again.
