The menu is huge with a big selection of quite interesting dishes based on different meats: beef, lamb, pork, fish and other seafood, as well as vegetarian options. Service was good with complimentary hot tea. Had the mango beef as well as some dumplings and pot stickers; the appetizers were good, and the mango beef was excellent. I went here around noon, but the place was nearly empty with only one other table being occupied. Good variety of condiments at the table as well: salt, garlic powder, vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil; however, the jars were all quite sticky to the touch and this sticks to your fingers.
TLDR: solid food at slightly higher prices, decor needs a bit fixing up We got our sweet and sour pork rice plate to go and the total came out to $15.40 which is a bit expensive. They included a sweet and sour soup which was nice. The pork was crispy and the sauce a bit sweet but good. Weirdly I wanted more rice as there was sufficient meat and veg. The interior needs some work with very dirty carpets but there were a bunch of flowers around which brightened it up a bit
Our family has been coming to Peking for decadesThough the neighborhood has changed quite a bit over the years Peking has stayed the same.
About 2 hours for dinner for a party of 6 people on a weekend bc they are really low on staff.
Ordered their salt pepper pork chop and it was too saltyAsked them nicely to replace it and still came out too salty.
