Lorna's Italian Kitchen - San Andreas

Her outdoor dining area is a kind of community, I like, but others could find it out of the brush. the server are all very friendly and informative. they play opera that is so authentic. eating is good, big portions.

I add to the choir of the happy fed patrons. Incredibly eat in a family-friendly atmosphere. don't let them frighten them through the food store in the strip-mask. it's fantastic.

Me and my friends have been coming here for like 6 years since they moved to University City. We always order our favorite Italian dishes like California pizza, calzones, meatballs. But one day another friend of mine brought me here for a quick lunch and I discovered this heavenly pastry called Tiramisu. One of Italy's most popular, Tiramisu is a rich treat blending the bold flavors of cocoa and espresso with savory mascarpone cheese and wine, layered with ladyfinger biscuits. Lorna's Italian is located in a quiet intersection by Governor Gennessee. It's worth a visit if you want excellent Italian dishes and their deserts. Go try it sometime.

We stopped in having looked for an Italian place to eat at over the New Year's weekend. We got there before the dinner rush and ordered starters and entrees. Everything was hot and delicious and we enjoyed watching the cooks in the kitchen from our table. There is standard Italian fare and specials. The atmosphere is friendly and the space is tight but not unlike any European bistro. The only annoying thing was the inconsiderate patrons that kept going in and out of a patio door and letting in blasts of cold air, instead of using front door. There is plenty of free parking, a must for me when in San Diego.

Great pizza and pasta. The portions and massive and the service was great !
