Kobe Japanese Cuisine & Bar- Foster City

This is a hidden gem of Foster City in my opinionIt's a wonderful little restaurant with an amazing menu.

I was really disappointed today. As a local resident, I enjoy rotating my weekly sushi meals between Tokie's, Kobe, and Sam's.

The server was knowledgeable and always had a smile on her face. We ordered shrimp and tempura dinner that came with rice, salad and Miso soup. It was too oily for me, but the cripple was great and quite a lot of vegetables. Chicken catsu was brilliant and also came with salad and soup. Much of it. We ordered spicy tuna reel (my little favorite), King Kong watch had a good crunch and favorite was Pei's, which had meerrot Hischi and a perfect blend of sweetness from the mango and heat from the Jalapeno. Yum!

Had one of their lunch specialties today. First visit. My party of 5 all enjoyed their orders and a few of them visited several times. Great service and food. Come back soon!
