Golden Chick - San Andreas

Chicken strips were cooked, but the breading was ugly and pale. Didn't have ice OR chicken patties as always. Didn't give us proper sauce either, only nasty gravy. They always close too early and I'm pretty sure this is against code. Thanks. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

My Husband and I were on a time crunch and stopped to get a bite. After checking the reviews I said let’s give this location a try. (We just moved to the area) We hadn’t had breakfast and was looking forward to having Golden Chick one of my favorite fast food places. I normally get Golden Chic because of the freshness hot big juicy golden crispy chicken strips. Well today wasn’t the case. When we received our order the bread was hard the chicken did not look like Golden Chicks Chicken, It was thin more on the dryer side, but still looked somewhat edible. Pressed for time normally I fight to get reimbursement.. but we just ate it up. I wasn’t pleased that it wasn’t hot but just warm to the touch. My fries were just frumpy must been staying warm being placed under the heat lamp. Oh my husband side salad was good though. He to ordered the chicken strips as well his was on the thin and on dryer side. Now for the drinks, we don’t drink soda and and usually get tea since it usually good well that wasn’t the case of this place and you can tell that they don’t clean out the tea containers. The taste was really strong taste of day old tea .. I didn’t drink it. My husband felt the same as well a different customer dinning there he felt the same about the tea being unpleasant. Drinks were limited due to the Soda co2 not working.. I decided to write in this review.. both my husband and my stomach been upset. We didn’t eat anything before, nor after. I can also tell that they were shorthand. Poor lady at the counter, seem to be doing it all. She kept telling someone in the back that there isn’t sweet tea numerous times while she was trying to tend to people that were coming in to dine in. We will not be returning and health inspectors should take a look at this facility. What Shame .. It’s really not that far from my home, thought it was really cool to be so convenient.
