Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

I would like to share with you an experience that I shared tonight with Diana for her birthday dinner at Fleming's Prime Steakhouse-San Diego at 340 K St. Tonight was a return to what having dinner out with your wife or family members should be. The staff at Fleming’s provided us a wonderful table, and Happy Birthday Card signed by the whole staff. The incredible attentive service provided by Christopher Bergendahl and Carlos Luna made us feel like we were not just another customer but a family member having dinner in their home. They were attentive, personable, polite and extremely knowledgeable of the menu. The food was the best I’ve had a Steakhouse. The mushroom ravioli was fresh with a creamy sauce. My prime dry aged ribeye with jumbo crab and bernaise sauce was the perfect combination of searing and melt in your mouth deliciousness that exploded with flavor. The Yukon mashed potatoes were buttery smooth and brussel sprouts were crisp and delicious as sides that were the perfect complement to the main dish. But let’s not forget about dessert. The chocolate lava cake with chantilly cream was decadent . And I’m not a guy who likes cake and it was delicious. we enjoy eating out at nice and have been to All the Stakehouses in San Diego but I would have to say if you’re looking for a place to take your loved one for a special dinner alone or the family to a nice dinner out this is the place. When making your reservation ask for Christopher, he’s one of the best guys that I know. He will take care of you as he took care of Diana and I tonight. We celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary last night and had the most wonderful dinner. We had the best service. Rose petals on the table. Our server Mike was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Hubby took me here for our 17th anniversary. And I must say, from the second we walked in the door, we felt like family. Carlos our server was phenomenal. And two of the managers visited our table to make sure everything was perfect. Our table had rose petals on it as well as an anniversary card signed by the entire staff! The special touches and attention to detail were impeccable. It was a beautiful, memorable evening and I can’t wait to go back again!!!

Outstanding service and the 16oz steak was beyond amazing, it was heaven. The crab cakes were to die for and my husbands salmon put a savory look on his face. Will we return, yes.
