Fishermen's Grotto - San Andreas

Ate outside at a table in the sun, had a delicious bowl of Chowder (best we?ve had) with a delicious bread sourdough (instead of a bread bowl) that cut the friendly host. With shell in every bite!

It is a unique and old place. The Clam Chowder was some of the best and a bowl is so great it is a full meal. The place could be some repairs like the tables are sticky from what the coating is on them.

Terrible food is disgusting. The place is dirty. The waitress seemed nice, but her hands and fingernails were dirty. The atmosphere is creepy. Go down the tourist trap. Full waste of money! The manager took our plates at the end and noticed that Noone even ate because it was rough. Didn't offer us a discount that charged us the full price and took the plates away. AVOID DIESER PLACE

The hotel is located in a high traffic tourist area, so was quite busy. Service was so slow that we ended the order by the bartender. But she got us drinks right away and could get our food order out quickly. Props to her or that would be a 2-star rating.

Great place to eat fish n chips before heading out on tours. The upstairs bar area was not open but really beautiful Art Deco design. All I can say is be kind our server was great and before covid he probably only had 4 to 6 great tables now he?s hustling 6-8 tables with no help of bus service. The restaurant was clean food was delicious and I?m just glad they were still open many did not fare so well ? be happy and kind
