Pizza Capers - the Gap - Samford Valley

This was such a treatOur party of four ate at the chef's counter and the entire staff was engaging with us through our whole meal.

Visited La Tavola last night for the first time and I'm def a fanWe had made a reservation but ended up arriving about 15 minutes early.

Happened to be in town & this place really came through for me on a Sunday night dinner! I had the gnocchi with marinara sauce & it was DELICIOUS.

Ive ordered pizzas that have little to no base sauce so the pizza was unpleasantly tasteless, missing ingredients, missing paid add ons and undercooked. I just feel like the staff are too young and don't seem to care. I know the manager does and I bet the attitude of the staff would be better when they aren't on their own but when they are things seem to be going wrong. Guess its hard to find motivated staff these days.

OK, it's a franchise and one Pizza Capers store has the same menu as the others. However, Pizza Capers has some of the best pizza I've eaten (and I do enjoy my pizza!). The range of gourmet options is pretty extensive and you have the option of adding or subtracting toppings, as you like. Pricing is also the same from one store to another and, while it's more expensive than Pizza Hut or Dominos, there's just no comparison. After trying Pizza Capers a few years ago, my wife and I have gone back to the others on a few occasions (just because they're so cheap) and we've been disappointed each time.What makes Pizza Capers at The Gap special (for me, anyway) is the friendly service and the speed with which they can get my pizzas ready after a phone call. Jack is the store manager, he always greets me by name, remembers my preferences and is great to deal with.For me, there's just no choice - it's gotta be Pizza Capers!
