Contribuiți la feedbackI had to do this again in Salzweg, the stomach required filling and today I had a little more time (and also my wife) since today was the ideal opportunity to make a long-planned visit to the Spetzinger. The inn has a good reputation locally, it has been family-owned for over 120 years and according to the homepage it is promised contemporary tradition, but also regionality and sustainability. So in the parking lot stopped right in front of the house, the 4 steps to the restaurant and the guest room denied. (The toilets are on the same level, the cabins are too narrow for wheelchair users, but for hip and knee patients there are handles in the cabins) BEDIENUNG/SERVICE: We were greeted when entering friendly and were able to pick up a table (we were quite early, later it was still quite full). We got the menus handed out and were allowed to choose food and drinks. Otherwise, there is nothing special to report, the operators have executed their job inexpressible and friendly. That's 4 stars. ESSEN: The menus are fabric-covered folders with clear cloth, clean and in good condition. The offer is natural regional. There are time and day offers that regularly change. There is a day-hit for 6.70. The daily card can be read on the Internet. A pig-back steak with herbal butter, bacon beans and roast potatoes was eaten, my wife ate a swab dish (length with cream sauce and cheese spetles) There was a salad at the Swabian Plate that came to the table after a short time. This was tasty dressed with various leaf salads, potato salad, herb and cucumber salad and garnished with Red Beete stripes on top. The dressing was based on vinegar oil and fine tuned. The other salads were also fresh and tasty. The swab plate itself was finely dressed, the meat was nicely tender, the sauce was creamy and made itself, but the meat portion should have been a little larger. My wife noticed that under cheese parrots she had actually expected the cheese to be mixed with the late lice and not, as here the late lice are baked with the cheese. But in the end it did absolutely no break to the taste. This was called 15.30. I ate a pig-back steak myself. This was also finely dressed, the meat grilled to the point (here it can happen quickly that it becomes too dry) and finely seasoned. The bacon beans were beautiful spicy with bacon and glassy fried onions. The roasted potatoes were also completely made by themselves, in some places they were somewhat bordered, but still absolutely fine. Also here were small onions. Absolutely harmonious and good taste. The only drop of wormwood was the herbal butter that didn't look self-made in my eyes. But if they are not used sooo often, it is also difficult to prepare and maintain the correct amount. There were 12.90. It was really good and I'm giving a half a star to the 4 stars. AMBIENTE: The inn is located in an older, rustic estate, there are various rooms and adjoining rooms. The style is traditional house style, with tile floor, dark wood, circulating bank. Tablecloths on the tables are not missing, it's just a slightly rustic style, but absolutely harmonious. Add fine decor elements, on tables even real flowers (and a pepper mill... not the guides pepper urns). In the background discreet radio sounding. In summer you can also sit very nicely outside, there is also a beer garden. Four stars. SAUBERKEIT: It was all picobello clean, even with the sharpened critic glasses (or cotton gloves) you did not find anything (also not on the upper edges of the toilet doors). The toilets were not refreshed too long ago. Absolutely nothing to complain, so 4.5 stars. PLV: For the services offered, the prices are absolutely fine, for which beverages were required 3.20 (beer and specific), which is the regional average. So also 4 stars FAZIT: Really good floor-to-ceiling kitchen without great ChiChi at reasonable prices, here you can go carelessly with the whole family (for small children there are also high chairs and even a separate changing room) Oh, yes, I had noticed... for a Thursday noon the restaurant was very well filled, some tables were even occupied for a second time (when we got up, our chairs would not be cold). This also really has to speak for the local. There are apparently many regular guests, in which the day-hit was finally the hit.
