Vapiano - Salvarcar

This is an interesting place. You order yourself at a kiosk and use a card to scan all your choices. You seat yourself and the wait staff will bring your food to you (numbered orders) They have a wide variety of pizza, pasta and other dishes. The bread and pasta are made in house by hand. They have a lively kitchen. The staff seemed to enjoy what they were doing and got along well. There is not a ton of table service from what I saw, but you could call someone over for assistance. The atmosphere was nice and I enjoyed the food. I tried the garlic bread, which I recommend. The Chicken Alfredo was ok, nothing impressive. They also have some interesting drinks on the menu that are worth a try. Overall it was a good experience.

They claim pesto is their best sold dish. It has absolutely no taste. Raviolis with some basil is not pesto perhaps they should go to Italy or USA to learn how to make it but then if it is over priced now then they would want a bucket of gold to make it right.
