Got a omelet with cheese an bacon. The bacon was precooked bacon like the stuff you throw in a microwave. The omelet was a bit thin. The staff was nice and the restaurant was cool on the inside, but it made me expect more. I don't mind paying for a good meal, but it was frustrating to receive such poor quality ingredients in a place that says home cooked meals. How can your restaurant say home cooked but you use jimmy deans microwave bacon on your food? I just don't get the lack of imagination and the lack of effort put into the food, an options on the menu. They really need to read through these reviews an take the negative comments into consideration. The BP truck stop across the road has a way better restaurant and food in it.

I had the club, my husband had the turkey, both very good. Great small-town atmosphere fantastic customer service. Right off the highway, so a great stop for travelers passing thru, as we were.

We've been in several times in the last 4 months, everyone is so nice. The food is homemade and quite good. We have recommended it to several people.
