Dona Salta

Very disappointing, especially as many sources recommend it. But hard to find something positive when it was cheap. If you want a good traditional well-run local place used by locals, go to Jovi Dos.

Very nice place. Perfect decoration in the center of sala. We had Matambre, a Suprema and Empanadas. Wll of them very nice

The place is very large and looks a bit like a canteen made for tourists. We had the Cabrita that was good, but this is not a place where we would return and we could have avoided it. It's too big and impersonal. It fits well... for large groups.

The place is always full, but you have the opportunity to take away. I did. I waited a reasonable time for my court to be ready. In general, I found the food somewhat oily and not as spectacular as some people who recommend the place said. At the same price, I could have a better meal in other restaurants.

We visited Doña Salta twice during our stay in the city. We tried typical dishes such as humitas, tamales and empanadas, of course. We can recommend everything, but the charquí empanadas were super delicious. The place can get really busy so make sure you don't...come too late.
