Restaurant House Piccolo

Everything on the menu will be cooked as it should be. Everything we tried was excellent, tasty and enjoyable. Atmosphere of HP makes it perfect for many occasions due to classy cozy setup. We’ve been here few times and never disappointed.

We meandered up to this quaint little restaurant set in an old character home about fifteen minutes earlier than our reservation and the server was easily able to accommodate us. My husband and I were placed in a corner window. The table set was charming. The menu was a small selection of seafood, filet mignon, and venison. Having over indulged the night before we didn’t order an appetizer and went straight for mains, ordering the scallop risotto and the catch of the day, which was halibut. Both of our meals were amazing with generous portions presented beautifully. We accompanied our meals with a Garry Oaks Pinot Gris. Although this is fine dining, the atmosphere was relaxed. A lovely way to spend a last evening in Ganges.

Well, let just start with the fact that you eat at the table covered with tablecloth. Food is fabulous and interesting. Not cheap but well priced and with menu satisfying different taste and providing gluten free options as well, without affecting dish quality. Highly recommended, must book in advance as it is very busy.

From start to finish everything was perfect!! Presentation, fish and scallops cooked perfectly, service all were amazing!!

Excellent service, friendly yet professional with a very good knowledge of the menu and wine list. Food was delicious, everything was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Dishes ordered, chowder, sable fish, crème brûlée, timbal and Garry oaks Pinot noir.
