The vibe was cool and they have a great collection of whiskey - but I don't think they have air conditioning!! It was 100 degrees, so it was pretty awful. We ordered some Mules, and they were watered down. We ordered the caramel bacon popcorn, and it tasted like glue ???? Not a great experience...
We reserved a table via their online form. We realized that we needed to push our reservation back 15 minutes and there wasn't an option to do this online so we called their number. The woman who we spoke to was extremely kind and said that even though her manager Eric was not there she would make sure to change our reservation time. Upon arriving for our reservation 10 minutes earlier than when it was for the manager Eric told us that he had just given away our table. He was extremely rude when we questioned him replying "How am I supposed to talk to all my employees about changes to reservations?!" Eric, the manager, made no attempt to apologize for this error in communication with his employees or any effort to rectify the situation. He continued to be extremely rude and unprofessional. Had Eric apologized or offered to get us the first available table we would've happily waited. However, this was not the case as he did neither of those and acted extremely unprofessionally especially as the manager of this establisment. I will not be visiting Whiskey Street again while it is under the management of Eric.
