Takashi - Salt Lake City

I’m hesitant to write a review because lord knows this place doesn’t need more good press. But takashi takes the cake as my favorite sushi restaurant in Utah. The sashimi and nigiri is extremely high quality. The presentation is immaculate. And the rolls are incredibly creative. The Box roll is a must try! It’s always packed and for good reason! If you’re in SLC and love sushi go check out takashi!

I'm often looking for a sushi place with more than just the normal bits of salmon, yellowtail, and tuna (etc). Well Takashi did not disappoint. They had all sorts of fish on the menu that I'd never seen anywhere before. Everything was prepared impeccably and the food was beyond delicious. Service was a bit slow at times. And it seems my miso soup never actually arrived. However, it was still a great experience, great meal, and I will definitely go back.

Everything we tried was great. Definitely recommend the spicy mussel shooters and the uni.

Fabulous sushi, fantastic and prompt service, pricey but not exorbitant. Would recommend for the best sushi I've had inland. This is true, but they also don't take reservations and are always busy. Drove an hour to be greeted with a two hour wait on a Thursday that claimed to be less busy. If they're this popular, why on earth can't I reseve a table for a special occasion?

Great japanese food, I would highly recommend coming here! the reviews speak for themselves so make this a high priority and get in here!
