Krua Thai - Salt Lake City

This is my favorite new Thai restaurant. The food comes out hot and fresh. I have been twice and tried two different curries with them both being excellent. My boyfriend had a noodle dish, also very tasty. You get big portions with plenty to take home for later. The menus are beautiful! Went there for lunch. The lunch special menu is rather starlight forward. The service was rather quick. The restaurant has a mix of old time feeling with some modern gimmicks (a Transformer for instance. Overall it was a good meal experience.

Went for lunch and ordered the green curry, white rice, and fried chicken combo. I got medium spice and thought it was a great representation of American medium spicy. Thought the curry had amazing flavor and the waiter was super nice. Portion size was great for the cost. I would go back again for lunch for sure and definitely for dinner to try some more of the delicious looking dishes in the menu. Good variety, appropriately strong flavor. We enjoyed our meal family style. Thai Iced Tea (excellent job! Chicken satay, Thai egg rolls, tom ka with chicken soup, seafood pad Thai, pork see ew, Thai Basil Stir Fry and the beef skewers. The chicken satay was cooked to perfection, and we preferred the peanut sauce to the cucumber. The peanut sauce was simple but good.
