Korea House Bbq - Salt Lake City

I had a disappointing experience with the Korean food here. I ordered tofu soup to go, and it was overwhelmingly oily—more than anything else. The smell was quite off-putting, and the soup looked like a mix of 75% water and 25% oil. The condiments were just three tiny containers of sauce that smelled stale. My Korean boyfriend was shocked by how bad it was. We ended up tossing it and opting for frozen food instead. That was $40 wasted.

The food here is authentic and absolutely delicious. Having traveled to Korea, I can confidently say this is the best bulgogi I've had so far! You won’t be disappointed. The service was friendly, and I even got to practice some of my Korean. The side dishes were both unique and tasty. It feels very authentic, and if I lived in the area, this place would definitely be on my regular dining list. I'm so glad we discovered it!

This Korean restaurant in Salt Lake City is exceptional and offers truly authentic flavors. The variety of side dishes that accompany the meals is fantastic. I especially enjoy the bibimbap, which is a rice dish served with meat and vegetables in a hot stone bowl. The spicy tofu seafood soup is equally delicious! As someone from Houston, Texas, I can confidently say this is one of my favorite Korean spots. I'm thrilled to have such a great place to visit whenever I'm in SLC!

The service is excellent, but the food is just okay. The galbi tang has a peculiar smell. I ordered the spicy pork and the galbi tang, which are available as a combo option. Overall, I would give it 2.5 stars.
