Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Salt Lake City

I went there to pick up an order for DoorDash. The service is rude, didn't care if I got the right order. Just stood there and watched me look at the receipt to make sure it was the right order to be picked up didn't bother to help at all. Would give it a zero if I could.

They have gone down hill. Prices are up ang quality is down.

I was delayed in getting there and arrived 4 minutes before closing. They were so kind and let me order take out. Dickey's is one of my favorite bbq places. It's been disappointing to see almost all of their restaurants close in Utah. My favorite side is their creamed spinach.

This is my second time to visit this establishment and it is great. It is ultra clean on the outside and the inside and the restrooms. You can pay with debit or credit or cash. If you need a catering service they have it. The dining room is large and very comfortable and has a western theme. It is cafeteria style. I used to love Dickey’s… but I guess we have another casualty of the pandemic, inflation and supply chain. The portions were tiny. For $35.00 I would expect a more. The yellow cup? What is that all about? Getting a soft drink is a fortune. The ice cream machine was broken, but had a sign on it that said, “I probably am working…” with details on how to operate it. The only redeeming quality, was the brother and sister duo that were working. They were polite and efficient.
