Caffé Molise - Salt Lake City

We loved our experience here! The food was fantastic and the place is so cute! Perfect for a date night. We will definitely be coming again.

The new Caffe Molise is located in a beautiful early 20th century building, and the atmosphere is wonderful, just like the food. We were pampered by both the cuisine and the service.

I visited this restaurant after hearing positive recommendations, but unfortunately my experience did not live up to my expectations. The Pappardelle Al Sugo I ordered was a disappointment due to the pork being overcooked and tough to chew. I requested to change the pasta type from Penne Di Caprino to Fetuccini, it came out too al dente. These issues overshadowed the taste of the sauce, which was rich and delicious. Additionally, the open layout of the restaurant made it difficult to hold private conversations as every table could hear each other speak. Overall, despite some positives, the food quality and atmosphere did not meet the standards I was expecting.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it. Everything we ordered was delicious. Note: The polenta appetizer is enough for 2 people, but could easily serve 4.

I made a reservation for a big work gathering and had a fantastic dining experience with excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant for a lovely evening out.
