Roadhouse Express - Salou

First place we found to eat after a midday landing, and was close to our hotel. We’re not one for seafood, which dominates the nearby restaurants so was relieved to find a more appealing menu. We both had pizzas, and were both very disappointed and had to leave a good two thirds. I could live with the unexpectedly thin, overcooked base (which was tough-as to tear and chew) but the sheer amount of cheese that swamped the top was stomach churning after a slice or two. I love cheese, perhaps more than chocolate, but nobody can enjoyably consume that much and feel remotely good or be healthy. I have no idea if there was a generous amount of toppings because legitimately couldn’t see past the half inch thick of yellow ooze. Even describing it like that has made me a tad hungry because I really do love a cheesy pizza, but in reality it’s inedible. Friendly waitress, good location on the beachfront, and I’m sure they couldn’t drown everything else in cheddar and mozzarella so would recommend trying anything else out the menu because it is in a good location, and the main restaurant has a good rep.

This is a good place; but for the prices and expectations we did eat better elsewhere. However, I’d totally recommend trying it out for the experience, it is a lovely restaurant and staff are good. Service can be slow but they are busy. Smoked burger don’t recommend, it’s for an acquired taste however, all other burgers nice Steak we both had fillet, it was nice but we’ve had a lot better elsewhere, lacked some flavour Chips and onion rings though… banging! Cookie and brownie gorgeous!

Food here was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend booking a table in advance!

Brutal. Simplemente increíble. un regalo para el paladar de los amantes de las hamburguesas. No esperábamos un buen nivel de hamburguesas. si siguen en línea, ciertamente pueden convertirse en las hamburguesas más conocidas de la zona. Les pedimos que lleven, poco hecho (que elijan el punto). el pan es muy bueno, y las hamburguesas son de buey (muy grueso) o pollo (nada pero ninguno). las papas deben ser sólo un tipo, debido a los 2 que tienen, los normales todavía tienen lugar para mejorar. también tiene una terraza con unas cuantas mesas.
