Au Coq Sous Cloche - Salon-de-Provence

We ate here one evening during our visit very friendly staff all menus in French but waitress translated in English very impressive food was very good and reasonable.

This restaurant was the perfect way to end my month long holiday in France. The prices were great, the staff were friendly and helpful talking us through the menu in English and the food was amazing. Fresh salad, yummy fries and tasty prawns (gambas) and the pannacotta was delish. I have not felt the need to tip the whole month I’ve been in France until now. If you’re a tourist this place won’t disappoint.

I was with two guests. Between us we had one starter, three main courses and two desserts. The total bill (with drinks) was 61.80€... reasonable value, considering that the food was pretty good. It is difficult to rate this restaurant as the food was good and the service was very friendly. However, I had to wait over 30 minutes before my main course (duck) arrived, while my guests finished their main courses. As this was the plat du jour, and as other people were meanwhile being served the same dish... starting it and finishing it, while I waited, this was very poor. I may go again... but not if I was in a rush!

Petit resto situé sur la place Morgan à proximité du centre ville. Service un peu long mais pas énormément !personnel bienPar contre en terrasse, quelques parasols supplémentaires, ce ne serait pas un luxe.Salades relativement copieusesToilettes nickels propres.

Un des rares restaurants de Salon acceptant les clients vers 14.00 et avec le sourire.Assiette copieuse et goûteuse. A recommander : leur panna-cotta maison.Une adresse à partager.
