Gelateria Vassalli - Salo

Ice cream bar on the long lake of salò, we went for a snack/aperitif and just sitting the waitress told us that (at 4 o'clock in the afternoon) there were 2 seals and 1 sandwich. at the time of order we ask 1spritz and a focaccia (velating very good and stuffed) while for me a chocolate (which they did not have) and a brioches cream (which in reality was zabaione, not cream pastry...different type of filling). informal location, with large outdoor space to enjoy the view on the lake, helpful staff, price in the norm to be on the lakeside. wide choice of artisan ice cream gowns inside.

Visiting Salo, we decided to seat at this well crowed place, found a table and immediately the waitress come along with a menu, after a few minutes (more like hours, so extensive the ice cream menu is) we decided what to have I stayed with just a nice Spritz, and for my surprised a wonderful tray of snacks were brought together,, Ice cream was also good looking to the expressions of the wife and daughter, lovely place nice food and good service.

Prices of the situation accordingly ok. but a single toilet for over 40 seats?! unfortunately little appreciation for the guests left.

Aperitif lake view at moderate prices and with rich snacks. particularly courteous and solert staff. recommended the valpolicella ripasso al calice, really very good.

Very nice. Friendly staff. Great icecream. Good coffee. Nice outlook over the Garda Lake. Looking over the boulevard it is a great place to watch people pass by.
