Ginger House - Salisbury

We ordered the basil fried rice, and it was quite disappointing. There was hardly any flavor, and it didn't even resemble basil in taste. I would definitely recommend avoiding it. We were really let down and wouldn't consider returning!

The sushi was amazing—truly delicious! I highly recommend trying all of the premium rolls. Today, I enjoyed the protein-packed Godzilla Roll, and it was fantastic!

I ordered the Mongolian Beef and had to send it back because it tasted like nothing, especially for $17. I then opted for the Dragon Phoenix, which was $19, indicating that it wasn’t about the price—it was the flavor that was the issue. My friend and I each ordered a cocktail and an appetizer, plus dinner; we were fully prepared to spend at least $100. When I handed the check to the waiter, I expressed my dissatisfaction with the food. She told me to take it up with the manager, who was rather rude and wore glasses. She seemed indifferent to the situation. My friend and I left a tip of $30 for the waitress. They then threatened to call the police, and I received a call on my phone 30 minutes later after yet another argument. (I left my card; nobody ran off.) I run a popular black-owned business in the city, and honestly, it's clear why our community is hesitant to spend money here. I’m convinced they're fabricating their own reviews because it seems no one actually eats here.

I just recently dived into the ginger house and got Collean as my server. I came towards the end of the night, so I would have understood that a server was less attentive and enthusiastic, but Collean had the energy of someone who had just their first table. The food was great, I got the pineapple chicken and it was delicious, according to their recommendation. I would recommend this restaurant only for the service, but the food makes it all the more worth it. Are you going on? Collean!

Ordered Egg Foo Young that gravy was Salty Salty. I asked waitress do they make it individually as ordered she said yes I told her it was too Salty she THEN said that they make all one time. Did not try to help. She brought me some duck sauce. Rice, and egg roll was on point. But Foo Young with Salty gravy not good. Tried to doctor it up with a lil water and duck sauce. No luck. First and last!!
