Dayton's - Salisbury

We do not live here in Salisbury and wish we had someplace like this back home. This is just great feel good cooking. From the soups, sandwiches and meals, everything has been great. In the few weeks we have been up here, I bet we have eaten at Dayton's over a half dozen times.

I ordered the crab cakes for the first time broiled and have no complaints! You get 2 and they are a very nice size. I LOVE the turnip greens, so for my 2 sides I got a double order. The cornbread was very good.My daughter got the half roasted chicken with stuffing, turnip greens and candied yams! She has no complaints either.Look at photos! I recommend! Our Server Angela was awesome, friendly and communicated with a smile! Parking: Lots of parking but they stay busy! Kid-friendliness: Definitely enough space for children and they are kid friendly!

Food was great, but my cornbread was cold. It was chilly in there.

A little disappointed they were out of the beef and dumplings at 6:30pm . Everything was great though.

Delicious homemade foods and desserts. Always seems to be crowded for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Parking: If you get there for dinner, arrive early because parking will fill up quickly. Wheelchair accessibility: Front door
