La Plaza Bakery Cafe - Salinas

I've always loved their deli food. The quality and portion size are very good at a great price. The bakery is also great and a staple in Monterey county with all of their locations. Tortas and shrimp tacos are my go to.

I ordered a small gender reveal cake. Staff were so friendly and I was told they were very excited to make the cake for us. When I came in with the envelope with baby 's gender I was greeted with smiles and we have been waiting for you . Great service great cake! Their menu has a variety and I have never had anything I didn 't like.

I bought bread and single packaged milk. The bread tasted good,but the milk was spoiled.. It had expiration of 3 days.. Such small business and they don't keep in mine the essentials of first in first out. ????

I love their champurado their bread is amazing! Always nice soft and so delicious!! Great selection on the bread as well. Their tortas are very delicious as well. Tried their pork tamales for the first time, they are very good. The masa tastes great.

I purchased 4 torts. Meat was very dry. Very plain. So disappointing and expensive. Money down the drain. I will not be coming back here at all.
