Kokoro Sushi - Salinas

Normally I love this place but they definitely dropped the ball on the combination tempura appetizer. It did not taste fresh at all, however, the tuna sashimi was fantastic! Super fresh and sliced to perfection.

The rolls are good but not worth $22. The portions are also a little small for that price (7pieces). The rolls were messy, not holding together, and unevenly cut.

The dinner combination is such a big and delicious meal! Everything is always good at kokoro

We were recommended this place for their food and decor. We were too distracted to notice the decor when we went here. We had indoor dining dinner. The food was good but the price is high. We got Agedashi Tofu, Super California Roll, and Nigari sushi. I would skip the tofu. The nigari was really good with the fresh seafood. There was one fish that was really soft and sweet but we couldn't tell what fish it was... It was a good try and experience.
