Mom's Cafe - Salina

Pretty nasty. Dirty and old. I had the chicken fried steak. Pretty sure they used it for a hockey puck the night before. Stopping in a small town and going to a diner called moms cafe you would think everything would be fresh made. Nope. It’s all very processed and pretty horrible.

Dietary restrictions: They couldn’t fill our orders because it wasn’t available due to not preparing the night before. This is not what Mom’s Cafe used to be. A great disappointment !

Everything. service very slow. our food was all cold. watched waitress count her money at the counter and she totally ignored us. took 15 minutes for coffee

We came for lunch it was one of the worst lunches we’ve ever had. They were out of soup several other things we asked for from the menu. My daughter I both ordered half a turkey sandwich salad. The ranch dressing was sour, the waitress never brought me another dressing. The sourdough bread was dry, the turkey was gray, we took one bite and it was terrible. Neither of us could eat it. We asked the waitress to take the sandwich off the bill, and since we took one bite she said she couldn’t, she only gave us 15% off. The service was poor, my husband drank his water we never saw our waitress again to refill his water. Very disappointed, we used to love stopping in to eat at Mom’s Cafe on our way through town. They’ve lost our business, it seems to have gone downhill.

Came here for lunch and was not impressed. Seems like the breakfast is their staple, but they stop serving it at 11 am. Would be better if it was served all day. 1. The fries felt very undercooked despite asking for well done. They were mushy and not tasty at all. So much I didn’t eat any of my fries. 2. Menu was incorrect, there was no indication that my sandwich came with lettuce and the servers excuse was “sometimes the menu is Incorrect. I don’t like lettuce I would try for breakfast but would not return for other meals. My sandwich was just ok.
