Pizza Box - Salford

I used to enjoy the deep pan garlic and cheese bread here; it was really good. However, now they serve a thinner version with hardly any cheese, and it's more expensive. The chips can be hit or miss – sometimes they're decent, but other times they're overcooked. Overall, I think the quality has declined. Service rating: 2.

I ordered the 14-inch Pepperoni special, adding extra cheese and pepperoni, along with a stuffed crust, totaling just over £14. Unfortunately, what I received was a standard 14-inch pepperoni pizza without the extra toppings I requested. The stuffed crust was a major disappointment; the base was doughy and seemed undercooked. This restaurant might cater to late-night patrons who have had a few too many drinks, but it's not the best choice for a family dinner takeout. Personally, I won’t be returning, especially after reading the latest hygiene inspection report from the council, which highlighted that improvements are needed in food safety management. Overall, it was only rated "generally satisfactory."
