Gelateria Giallo Limone - Salerno

Top gelateria in Salerno. 5 is not high enough. This is a small ice cream and patisserie shop as great as Grom or Fassi (Palazzo del Freddo) in Rome. I tasted others with >4 scores but they are not even close. Great variety of tastes and from original ingredients (e.g. nocciole di Giffoni, you can also buy them) and, above all, very good. The proof of being top is that they also fill the cannolo siciliano (also the gluten free version) on the fly. They have the same set-up of Grom in terms of ice cream service (i.e the ice cream is not shown up they dig it from the containers). The staff is very kind and if you ask for a gluten-ice cream they will point to you which ice cream flavors are gluten free and change the spoon for each flavor to avoid contamination. I took a large cup of ice cream (3-4 flavors) for 5E, a cannolo gluten free for 3.5E and a granita of lemon for 3E all worth the price. They also have some tables to sit outside. Last but not least, the staff wear very funny t-shirts.
