Al Dente Spaghetteria - SALERNO

I came here for a business trip in Salerno (for work i do over 400 meals in restaurants every year in the latest 25 years now around the world), and i am a authentic pasta lover! The place was packed and the waiting list was over 2h, so i booked for the next day! On my second attempt I wanted to try a Carbonara which is one of my favorite but i was finally tempted by the “Sorrentino” (yellow tomato cream and mozzarella). It was SUBLIME!!! My partner had one of his best “Pasta alle vongole”! So i decided to come also my last night. The waiter proposed me the “Nerano” (bacon-onion base with zucchini plus provolone parmiggiano cheese). It has been a long time since i last tasted zucchini like these. All the products starting from ana amazing quality of pasta, very detailed selected products and divine food combinations are on my Top Ranks of restaurants of italy , And the prices are really “low” comparing to the quality service. I had also amazing caprese and dessert but still in love with the pasta….. The stuff is really kind, helpful, and professional. In my opinion the ones that they don’t agree with me they have to be BANNED from Italy…. Definitely 2 Michelin Stars

THIS RESTAURANT IS A SUCCESS on ALL FRONTS!!! It only serves pasta dishes and maybe little more (desserts? but you can see your dish being prepared in the kitchen and it is served hot and deliciously ready-to-eat! Great service, noisy place (it's always full , reservations are highly recommended (when possible . NOT expensive, a great meal for your money

Fantastic food and fantastic service. We had a couple of appetizers and a couple entrees to try something different. Everything we order was so tasty.

Great experience. the service is fast and the dishes are excellent. positive note also for cooking pasta: perfectly to the tooth. it is advisable to reach the place a bit before the time you want to have lunch/dinner, since being always full you will have to wait/make add on the list to have a table. prices are really honest.

The open kitchen is very particular as impact, young boys with courtesy and palpable cleaning. great food and relationship with the really exceptional price.
