Willamette Valley Grill - Salem

This restaurant is said to offer great dining in Salem, but I found it to be just average, especially considering the price we paid. I believe it’s overrated and too expensive for what it delivers. The service was somewhat slow, and the food didn’t meet my expectations. I ordered a ribeye that I could have cooked better at home. Additionally, the fish was overcooked and small for the price. Overall, I was disappointed.

We attended an event that was supposed to be held in the restaurant, but it ended up taking place in a large, outdated conference space in the hotel. We were hoping to experience the restaurant, and I regret not visiting on a regular day instead. Overall, the brunch was decent. The server was attentive and very friendly, but the woman handling the payments was not quite as pleasant.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local who claimed it was top-notch. Perhaps we're a bit spoiled, but we weren’t impressed. The lamb was quite disappointing, and we were crammed together at a bar-style setup with tables closely packed. The server didn’t have much knowledge about the wines, which was a letdown. We were hoping for a more exclusive dining experience, but that was not the case here. The highlight of the evening was the singer on stage, who was truly talented.

In comparison to many other ostern brunches in the opposite, this is very favorable, has a great variety of beautiful eating, waiting staff is friendly, and for children the visit of the life-size osterhain is a special tasty.

I have had their fish twice now and both times it was very good. I had the Halibut once and the Salmon the other time. I suggested they put a parmesan encrusted Halibut on their menu also. They have a really good steak fillet as well. Good food and nice environment.
