Thai Orchid - Salem

I am so thrilled that we stumbled upon this restaurant! Our meal arrived within an hour and was still hot. We started with the 6. Appetizer Sampler platter, and everything was delicious except for the fried tofu, which was a bit spongy and flavorless (but that's just how tofu is, right?). I chose the pad 81. Pad Thai with regular spice and double chicken, which was perfect for me as I don't have a high spice tolerance. The lime and fresh bean sprouts added a nice texture. My fiancé ordered the 91. Chow Mein with medium spice, shrimp, and pork. The difference in spice levels from regular to medium was noticeable - after 10 bites, he started feeling the heat, but overall, the dish was delicious!

The food was absolutely delicious! It had just the right amount of spice and was full of flavor. The portions were generous as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

As always, the food at this restaurant is fantastic. Our favorite dishes are the pad thai and satay, which are perfect to share because of their large portions.
