Straight From New York - Salem

This is my husband's and I favorite Straight from New York Pizza place in the Salem area. We've been coming here for years! And do not leave disappointed, we are happy they have opened up their dining area .

The delivery was prompt. I ordered a half-and-half pizza—one side was Hawaiian with marinara sauce, while the other side was a Margherita topped with garlic olive oil instead of traditional sauce.

I've been bringing my children here for nearly 20 years. I really enjoy the pepperoni by the slice and a nice cream soda while walking with the kids. They also have outdoor seating where you can watch the pizzas being made.

This place is fantastic! As someone from the East Coast, I can honestly say it's the closest I've found to New York pizza on the West Coast. The setup with the long counter and stools gives it a familiar vibe, making it a really easy and comfortable spot to pop in for a quick slice. The staff is also incredibly friendly. I try to visit at least once a week for a slice or two; it feels like my week isn't complete without it!
