Momiji Sushi Bar And Restaurant - Salem

One of my favorite local spots! The food is fantastic, the service is quick, and it's a great place for families. My top recommendation is the sushi tower—it's delicious with sweet crab, fresh salmon, and an incredible spicy sauce! Seriously, go now! Stop reading this and place your order—why are you still here when you could be enjoying some amazing food?

I usually order the spicy tuna, but since the cucumbers were smaller this time, I decided to try a roll with a variety of different fish. I was pleasantly surprised!

The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, with friendly staff and delicious food. The miso soup was just what I needed today. The rolls I ordered were fantastic, and I definitely needed a box to take some home. My child enjoyed them as well!

I have to admit that I'm not a big sushi fan since I'm not fond of fish, but my husband absolutely loves it. We decided to share a Bento box that included Teriyaki Chicken with rice, potstickers, a house salad, and sushi. The chicken was incredibly tender and moist, but I personally prefer the thicker Teriyaki sauce from Love Love, as theirs was on the thinner side. The potstickers were tasty, but once again, I favor Love Love's potsticker sauce over theirs. On a positive note, their house dressing was delightful. The Bento box also came with the Salem Roll, which I found to be pretty decent for sushi. My husband, on the other hand, really enjoyed their sushi. One thing I wouldn't recommend, though, is their spring rolls; at over $4 for just four small ones, they aren't worth it.

Everything was absolutely fantastic! The food was incredibly delicious. I usually have reservations about chain restaurants, but this location really has it all figured out! The service was outstanding too! Kaylynn was exceptional, and her knowledge of sushi was top-notch! We will definitely be returning!
