Mercy Tavern - Salem

I absolutely love the service, variety, location, and atmosphere at Mercy Tavern! They have a fantastic selection, and the service is quick and friendly!

This is one of my favorite casual dining spots. They offer a kids' menu, a fantastic selection of beers, delicious cocktails, and outdoor seating available during the season. The service is fast, and the prices are reasonable as well. Plus, they host live music on certain nights!

I should mention that Mercy Tavern is conveniently located near the House of the Seven Gables, which is a fantastic bonus. The beer selection on tap is impressive, and the bartender was very attentive, creating a cozy bar atmosphere. I must admit that the falafel wasn't the best I've ever had, but I appreciate their effort—even if it was served on top of the pita rather than inside and had a slightly mushy texture. I suppose it's a New England twist on falafel presentation. On the other hand, my dining companion loved the delicious clam chowder. All things considered, I would rate Mercy Tavern a solid 5, and I definitely plan to return.

Food was delicious. Service was nice. A little off the beaten path from all the tourist things in Salem. Please try the Truffle Fries with roasted garlic.

Great food and excellent movie selections going on in there. Frequently coming here it's very good
