Markos Taverna - Salem

What a wonderful dining experience! I absolutely love the idea of offering both small plates and full meals. The spicy feta dip served with potato wedges was a delightful and unexpected treat on the menu. The owner, George, is genuinely passionate about using fresh ingredients, and you can really taste the freshness of the herbs in the Greek shrimp and grape leaves. The desserts are homemade, which adds a lovely touch. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend Markos. The menu truly has something for everyone. Thank you, George, for putting your heart into creating such delicious dishes and a beautiful restaurant!

My husband and I had a fantastic meal with a generous portion of Moussaka before heading out on a Mahi Mahi cruise. The service was outstanding, the drinks were enjoyable, and the atmosphere was delightful. While the restaurant is located by the water, it was a bit too sunny for outdoor seating during our visit. I highly recommend this restaurant!
