Big Blue Thai Bbq - Salem

Never, ever, in my whole life, have I ever had Thai food that was this good, and I love Thai food. First, the people that run this cart are lovely, but more importantly their food is top notch! If y’all don’t try them you’re gonna miss out on a full flavor explosion in your mouth!

Really delicious. Somewhat high prices, but that's the standard these days. I recommend getting the lunch serving of the BBQ Pork. The dinner portion comes with a large papaya and arugula salad, while the lunch size has a small side salad. Same size meat and rice. The spice level is about perfect. Hot enough to add a lot of flavor, but not so hot you have a runny nose and need water between bites. High end flavor, probably not great for people who can't handle heat.

This might be the best bbq in town- it certainly is one of Salem's best-kept secrets! My 12 yo can't stop talking about how good the bbq pork was- fresh off the grill, juicy, with the perfect amount of char.... the kind of bbq that makes you emotional. I can't stop thinking about the Thai iced tea, and we fought over the sweet mango sticky rice (after my son at his, he ate half of mine). We will be going back regularly. Thank you!

Always enjoy my meals there. The chicken in their entrees is fresh, tasty and abundant. Portions are huge too. So happy they endured through the pandemic.
